Has anyone purchased a good attachment for trailer towing from the rear. Before I have something fabricated, I remember seeing a few attachments at boat yards and mariners but never knew if they were purchased or fabricaated. I have several trailers which I will move several times & it would be nice to back up, pull up the lever, and pick up the trailer & go. I put the front push bar and grill guard on the front recently. A very nice attachment for the $150.00 for both.

3ph adapters for ball hitches and receivers are available at on-line mail-order places like Northern Tool and probably many other places.
I'm not sure I'd call any of them 'good' because there are hazards associated with using them. Never-the-less people do use them and they can be useful if used within their limits.
Several potential problems with their use are: Tractors pull better then they stop. A heavy load can simply push a tractor down a slope. Unless a 3ph is locked down, lift on the trailer tongue--from a poorly balanced load, a load shift, a bump or a push down a hill can raise a 3ph to its limit and then break it. Anyway it's a good idea to keep these potential problems in mind when using a 3ph-trailer adapter. I think MarkH can comment specifically on these problems.
